How to make a monthly budget
A monthly budget fits on one page: what comes in, what leaves on a fixed date, and what is left. The template has those rows. You fill it in a spreadsheet, on your device.
Planned is what you intended. Actual is what happened. The gap between them is the only figure that matters next month.
- Write down take-home pay and the other amounts that actually arrive.
- List fixed bills: rent, energy, insurance, subscriptions, loans.
- Subtract. The result is the money left, to spread across the month.
- Download the template, fill the planned column, then the actual column at the end of the month.

Questions
Is the file sent to Fleuris?
The download stays on your device. Open it in a spreadsheet.
Where to start if income changes?
Use an ordinary month, not the best one. A budget that is too hopeful falls apart at the first bill.
